Odaily Planet Daily reported that NFT whale Pranksy posted on the , the market has been flooded with a large number of copy-and-paste NFT projects in the years since.
BAYC co-founder Greg Solano later responded that Pranksy had sold BAYC assets for millions of dollars that he believed "could have been worth $500 million," and accused him of subsequently promoting a large number of copycat projects. Greg Solano also said that Pranksy had founded multiple NFT-related companies, but these projects have now been removed from his X profile, saying: "Either be the change you want to see, or enjoy the wealth that BAYC will bring you."
