Odaily Planet Daily News Visa said that the payment volume of its stablecoin-linked card projects increased by nearly 200% year-on-year, and currently supports more than 160 consumer, corporate and commercial card projects. From fiscal year 2026 to date, approximately 17% of stablecoin-linked card transaction volume comes from corporate and commercial card projects.

Mark Nelsen, Visa’s head of global products, commerce and capital flow solutions, said that companies are looking for trustworthy and reliable ways to transfer funds, and stablecoins are increasingly appearing in commercial applications such as supplier payments, treasury operations and cross-border commerce. Allium research shows that payment is the fastest-growing use case for stablecoins, with annual payment volume estimated at US$401 billion to US$527 billion, of which service fees, salaries and supplier payments are US$56 billion, US$43 billion and US$28 billion respectively, and B2B cross-border payments account for 43%.
