PANews reported on October 2 that Cloudflare announced that its tokenization gateway (Monetization Gateway) has started closed testing. Websites can charge AI Agents by request, query or token through HTTP 402, and the payment is settled on the Base blockchain using USDC, a stable currency pegged to the US dollar. Current application scenarios include AI reasoning, web search, market signals and PDF generation services, etc.
