PANews October 14 news, according to The Information, people familiar with the matter revealed that OpenAI is in early acquisition talks with software security company Trail of Bits, and the potential deal size is not yet clear. OpenAI is currently trying to build a sizable cybersecurity business. Trail of Bits is headquartered in New York, USA, and focuses on discovering and fixing vulnerabilities in open-source software. It has provided security audits for multiple crypto projects including Uniswap, Aave, and Worldcoin; in June of this year, the two sides jointly launched the open-source software security initiative Patch the Planet.
