Odaily Planet Daily News BlackRock and Ondo Finance have partnered to launch Intelligent Portfolios, which package professionally constructed complete investment strategies into a single on-chain token. BlackRock has designed three portfolios for Ondo, focused on high yield, diversified growth and high growth, allowing investors to gain exposure to the entire portfolio by holding a single token without having to purchase and rebalance the underlying assets separately.
Unlike the tokenization of a single stock, bond or fund, this model further puts the entire investment portfolio and asset allocation strategy on the chain. Relevant tokens can be transferred between wallets and platforms in the future, and may be used for mortgage lending or access to other on-chain financial products. Lisa O'Connor, global head of model portfolio solutions at BlackRock, said tokenization is creating new ways to deliver portfolio strategies through digital infrastructure.
