The funds will be managed and distributed by the Simons Foundation to support workshops, academic conferences, and special programs. In addition, OpenAI will provide model access and computing resources to researchers supported by the Simons Foundation, promoting the translation of AI technological advances into deeper mathematical understanding and new discoveries.
